Never Trust, Always Verify.
Verify what's real in a world of AI-generated deception.
Blackwater Verify helps organisations detect manipulated content, assess authenticity and make informed trust decisions backed by clear, auditable evidence.
- Image verification: Live
- Voice & video: In testing
- Real-time verification: In development
Image results
Know what you're looking at.
Every still-image check ends in one of four states. Three name what was found. The fourth says plainly that the evidence was not enough.
Result
AI-generated
A supported finding that an image with no face found was synthetically generated. Not yet offered on photos of people.
Result
Face-swap detected
A supported finding that a face was replaced or manipulated.
Result
Manipulated
A supported finding of image manipulation.
Result
Inconclusive
The evidence is insufficient, so no finding is released and the case goes to human review. It is also the usual result for a genuine photo of a person.

How it works
How Blackwater Verify works
- 01
Submit
Upload an image in the Console or send it through the API.
- 02
Analyse
Forensic models examine supported visual characteristics and manipulation indicators.
- 03
Decide
A named finding is returned only when the calibrated threshold is met.
- 04
Record
The result is sealed into a tamper-evident decision record.
Decision record
Every verification leaves a verifiable record.
Each completed analysis is sealed into a record your team can review, integrate, and retain.
What a record holds
- Case ID
- Every analysis is tracked as a case
- Finding
- Named finding or inconclusive
- Evidence
- Indicators behind the result
- C2PA status
- Content Credentials, where present
- Decided at
- When the verification ran
- Record hash
- SHA-256 of the sealed record
Tamper-evident
SHA-256 hashing helps protect record integrity. If the record changes, the hash no longer matches.
Traceable
Preserves what was checked, when it was checked, and what was found.
Exportable
Send the record into your own systems through the API.
Principle
When the evidence isn't strong enough, we say so.
Blackwater Verify does not force a conclusion the evidence does not support. If the operating threshold is not met, the result is inconclusive and the case goes to your team for human review.
The threshold is calibrated per use case, so a hiring review and a media screen do not share one operating point.
Use cases
Verification for the workflows that matter now.
- Live
Image Verification
Check a suspicious still image and get a named finding or an inconclusive result.
- Pilot
Remote Hiring Verification
Check candidate imagery in digital recruitment, with human review for weak evidence.
- Live
Media & Content Authentication
Screen visual content before publication, with C2PA provenance alongside forensic analysis.
- Live
Enterprise API Verification
Send images by API and receive findings through signed webhooks.

What's next.
These are not live. Voice and video are accepted for analysis but return inconclusive. Live call and meeting protection are being built. See capability status
